At Noselab ATS, quality is a verifiable technical requirement. Every solution developed or distributed must ensure compliance with the applicable standards and the stability of test parameters over time.
In laboratories that use professional equipment for materials testing, quality is measured by the consistency between regulatory requirements, the machine’s configuration and the reliability of the results obtained. Technical compliance relates to the procedure and the conduct of the test. A machine is only suitable if it operates within the limits set by the standard and if the parameters remain under control during use.
This approach encompasses research and development, production, installation and operational management, with a focus on the associated documentation and the traceability of checks.

Quality in design, testing and operational commissioning
Operations are carried out at the Bovisio Masciago site, where the assembly lines and the metrology laboratory for testing are located.
Here, quality must begin right from the research, development and design stage: every system is built in accordance with the requirements set out in the applicable international standards, with particular attention paid to the stability of the expected test results and their repeatability. During production, functional checks are carried out on critical parameters, operating conditions and the consistency between the configuration and the application of the relevant standards. Subsequently, the acceptance test serves as the validation stage.
At Noselab ATS, we maintain the same rigorous standard of technical control regardless of the origin of the technology: we apply the same attention to quality to both our in-house manufactured machines and equipment sourced through international partnerships.
Metrology, calibration and documentation
A test system remains reliable only if the measured parameters are monitored over time. For this reason, Noselab ATS’s quality assurance also includes the metrological management of the equipment.
We have an in-house metrology laboratory, where we carry out the calibration and certification of our own production equipment and that of our partners. Once the checks have been completed, we produce the technical documentation required for audits and for our company’s quality management systems.
Specifically, the activities include:
- Verification of the critical parameters involved in the test;
- Issuing of calibration reports specifying the reference standards used;
- Planning of regular maintenance work.
This system ensures control throughout the machine’s entire life cycle. In this context, quality refers to the set of activities that ensure the reliability and consistency of measurements in laboratories using professional materials testing equipment.
